6 weird things about me. Tag. You're it.

I was tagged by Janna in a meme that's been going around and I am obligated to respond. It seems I have to repeat the rules so here they are.

THE RULES: Each player of this game starts with the '6 weird things about you'. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says 'you are tagged' in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

So here are 6 weird? things about me. Not sure if they classify to be weird enough or I just think it's interesting enough and you don't probably know it hence I am telling you. Well, without much further ado, here they are...

  1. I wanted to be FIFA president when I was younger. I am not sure what happened to that dream but we'll see how it goes.
  2. My first program was the normal “Hello World” program in my freshman year although I think I remember writing a simple BASIC program in Middle school. That doesn't count as I am not too sure about that.
  3. My dad once said I sleep like a foetus. What he meant was that I don't follow any sleeping patterns and slept at weird times. Over the winter break, I generally slept between 3 and 6 AM and woke up in the afternoon. I seem to be back to normal sleeping schedules.
  4. On MSN Windows Live, my username is lolopinto. A few people have asked me how I got that name. Since you might not know, let me explain. In ISI, we played paper soccer a lot and my team was Portugal. Two of the players on my team were Joao Pinto and Sa Pinto and they were very deadly in the opposition's penalty area. My nickname then was “lolo” - don't ask - and from the Pinto boys came lolopinto. NB: Can someone explain paper soccer to those who might not know? The explanations online (here and here) are different from our variant of paper soccer.
  5. As you know, I really like sports. One thing I have noticed about all my favorite teams is that their best player is arguably the best (at least one of the best) in his position. For the Colts, there's Peyton Manning; the Lakers, Kobe Bryant, and Arsenal, Henry. However, I became an Arsenal fan before we got Henry and a Laker fan when Shaq was still in LA. Did I propel Henry and Kobe to greatness? lol. Will my affiliations to these teams continue after these players retire? I verily much think so.
  6. You know when I told you that I never cared about grades, I lied. There was this one time where I cared and cried when I didn't get the grade I was expecting. In JS2 (grade 8), I was on my way to winning 1st prize in Math when I messed up in the third term and messed up. I had to settle for second best. Well, God heard my cry and people failed so badly that they had to give everyone extra credit and the extra credit meant that both of us vying for first prize finished with 100 for the term and I ended up being first based on my earlier lead (No one was allowed to have more than 100 in an academic term).

Now, this might not seem weird enough and you might probably know one or two things but I can almost guarantee that whoever you are and how much you know about me, you didn't know all...

So, I need to tag 6 people. Here they are...
