You can also import your blog from other websites to Facebook. Your imported notes are readonly. They also provide a link to the original post if the note is imported from a blog. One funny thing is that I have blogs in both Blogger and Spaces in my profile and it only recognized that Blogger was a blog and prompted me to import that.
There could be a few reasons why Spaces wasn't imported at all:
- It doesn't recongize Windows live Spaces as a blog
- The functionality to import Blogs from Spaces hasn't been done yet and would be a V2 feature proving Scoble right that most people don't view Windows Live Spaces as a blog
- They can only import one blog at a time and decided to go for Blogger as opposed to Spaces because it's more mainstream
- And a whole lot more possible reasons.
It would be interesting to see what blogging services they support and what the impact of this new Facebook feature would do for blogging in general.
I am going to continue blogging here (here being Blogger as you could be reading this from Facebook) because Facebook automatically imports my blog from here to my Facebook Note.
